Today is my last day of Phase 1. I lost 2 pounds already! I’m pretty sure I didn’t have only 1200 calories once this week. If I did I would have felt starving and that sucks. Phase 2 is 1500 calories per day…let’s see how this goes.
Our house is a disaster. Mom and I came home from the mall yesterday and our hall closet was gone. So was the wall connecting the living room to the old laundry room. Now a new wall is partially up and we have a back door. This isn’t part of the grant they got. This is all on their own. Good thing Josh and Adam know what they’re doing. I’m jealous that I don’t have those skills. I think it’s going to look great when it’s all done though. The living room will be a little smaller and we’ll have a den/office type of thing. I just can’t wait for it all to be done. At least Mom and Dad’s room is finished!
Open the door And show me your face tonight I know it’s true No one heals me like you And you hold the key
Never again would I turn away from you I’m so heavy tonight But your love is alright And I do believe
That not everything is gonna be the way You think it ought to be It seems like every time I try to make it right It all comes down on me Please say honestly You won’t give up on me And I shall believe I shall believe And I shall believe
of the Curves weight management plan today. I chose the high carb plan because I loves me some carboydrates. Phase 1 lasts for 7 days and includes 1200 calories across 3 meals and 2 snacks. If I can keep this up I will be so proud of myself. It’s only 7 days…I think I can!
*The roads were good to and from Delhi. *The Midtown Grill in Delhi was amazing. Best chicken parm I have ever had…and AMAZING cheesecake! *Good times with my brothers. Wish: That people didn’t smoke inside.
I got this pack of samples from Curves this morning. Awesome! Not only does it have like an entire box of crackers in it but it is full of coupons too. Coupons make me so excited! I think I might go do some grocery shopping today…or Sunday.
Today is Ash Wednesday which means it is that time of year to give up something for Lent. I am choosing alcohol. It is so bad for me. Well it’s bad for everyone (unless you’re drinking like just a glass of red wine a day…and not even a big glass just a little glass). So we will see how this goes!
Maybe I’ll start blogging about this journey to a healthier me. It’s not just about losing weight. I want to be healthy and in shape. I want my Wii Fit age to not be 40 when I’m only 22 years old! I also use fitday.com which is a really great website to keep track of your goals and calorie intake. I put in my weight on January 25th and have lost 4 pounds since then! That is without really changing my eating habits but with joining Curves and using my Wii Fit. I’m addicted to the Wii Fit!! It’s soooo much fun. So anyways…I am going to try really hard at this to change my life for the better!
*Saw Ali for the first time since graduation. *Had a lot of fun with Al, Ali, and Andy at the ice castle and in Lake Placid. *Got some cute new shirts for low prices…outlet stores rule! Wish: That Jeff had come out with us last night!
*Went to Curves…starting out the day exercising felt good. *The construction workers started working on my parents’ bedroom. *It was a beautiful sunny day. Wish: That I hadn’t fallen asleep during King Ralph. :-P
